Escape to the Rainforest
Fall 2018 & 2019

Our annual trips to the southern Caribbean coast of Costa RIca allow us an opportunity to rejuvenate and re-attune ourselves to the rhythms of nature. We unplug in 250 acres of protected Primary and Secondary Rainforest, swim in the Caribbean Sea, read in our hammocks, listen to the serene rainforest soundscapes, enjoy locally sourced organic meals, participate in daily yoga, meditation, massage, and more!
This eight night adventure, based in Puerto Viejo, typically includes Ecological Adventure Excursions, such as tours to the Jaguar Animal Rescue Center, the Cahuita National Park, and a local cacao farm where we discover how chocolate is made. It also includes guided night hikes, visits to beautiful beaches, as well as the hospitality, love, and laughter of a local woman as she teaches us one of her favorite traditional recipes right in her own kitchen! And last but not least, we always include a Seva (volunteer) project at a local school for girls, ages 6-11. This is always one of the best aspects of any retreat: giving back!
